Ordering on-line

Ordering on line is fast and easy. Simply add the products that you need to your on-line shopping basket and select the appropriate quantity. Payment can then be made using virtually any major credit or debit card (sorry - no Maestro or Switch cards!) via our fully secure payment gateway provided by Securehosting. If you wish you can also choose to call us to complete payment or we can also accept payment by cheque.

Ordering by phone

If you prefer to place your order by phone or simply need to check something, please call us on the number above (0871 873 3002 or +44 871 873 3002 outside the UK). We can accept payment with order by credit or debit card. Please remember that some items such as log book stamps involve a lot of personal choices so try and think these through before you call.

We endeavour to ensure that all published prices are correct, however we reserve the right to change prices without notice and not to accept orders at prices that have been quoted in error. Prices are quoted in three currencies. Pounds Sterling, Euros, and US Dollars. Prices in Euros and US Dollars are calculated using typical exchange rates but we have no control over the exchange rate that will be applied by your credit card or bank and so you should expect the final payment to vary slightly.

Tax Charges
UK Customers:
All orders are subject to VAT (20% for all items except books and gift certificates). Please look for the price in brackets with the words "inc VAT" next to it.

International Customers:

This depends where you are based! Please note you cannot pay for an order from one country and deliver it to another. Please contact us first if you have this special need.

If you are resident in the European Union then you WILL PAY VAT (also known as GST in some countries). Please look for the price in brackets with the words "inc VAT" next to it. At present these are the countries that qualify:

If you are not resident in any of the above countries then you WILL NOT PAY VAT (also known as GST in some countries). However, you may need to pay a local duty tax when you receive the order. More information will be available on your home countries customs website. However, as a service, we have found the following for our US and Canadian customers:

US Duty information:
The following information was copied from the US customs website Postal Imports section on 15th January 2007 (we cannot guarantee this has not been altered since!):
Packages whose declared value is under $200 ($100 if being sent as a gift to someone other than the purchaser) will generally be cleared without any additional paperwork prepared by CBP.

Delivery Charges

Please note that all prices shown on this web site are shown without postage which must be added to all orders. You can see the relevant postage charge below each item on the website, as well as a total for your shopping cart, and in the checkout screen before you pay.


Your order can contain both stock items as well as special bespoke items we are making just for you. Most stock only orders received by 4pm (Monday to Friday) are despatched on the next working day and the vast majority within 36 hours of receipt. Any order that contains a bespoke item will usually take an extra 3 working days for making. To check the status of your order, please see the My Orders page. Orders are delivered by the method you choose at time of purchase and more info on these choices can be found here.
